Omaha Nation and the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa

Dawn Blanchard is a proud member of the Omaha Nation and a direct descendant of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, where she grew up. She has dedicated her career to public service across federal, state, and Tribal government. Dawn currently serves as Tribal Liaison for Explore Minnesota, the state’s tourism promotion office. She holds a Juris Doctor from Hamline University, a certificate in Tribal Administration and Governance from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and a certificate in Business and Finance from Harvard Business School’s Leading People and Investing to Build Sustainable Communities program. Outside of work, Dawn is happiest walking wooded trails with her dog and spending time with her grandchild.
