Go International
Indigenous Tourism in the Global Marketplace
The American Indigenous Tourism Association offers the annual two-day Go International training, designed to introduce the international market to Indigenous-owned businesses and support participants to identify their tourism product(s) for pricing, packaging, and selling to markets overseas. The two-day Go International training, held every February in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is part of our International Outreach Program and is designed to assist Indigenous-owned businesses looking to create an international tourism marketing program.
Indigenous tourism professionals, industry representatives and entrepreneurs gather to:
- Hear from expert speakers from throughout the national and international tourism industry
- Connect and network with one another around shared vision and goals for business, Native Nations and communities, and tourism development
- Advance and develop their businesses, careers and tourism ventures
- Gain an understanding of what is needed and how to participate in international markets
The training also provides information on the incredible opportunities to participate with the American Indigenous Tourism Association at some of the leading international travel trade shows, including ITB Berlin (March), Showcase USA-Italy (March) and IPW (May/June).
Why Attend Go International?
Expert speakers and hands-on presentations showcase how to build itineraries, how to attract domestic and international group travelers and how to work with global tour operators.
