As Digital Content and Social Media Specialist, Kayla Sawyer advances the association's mission to elevate and support Indigenous tourism across the U.S. through compelling digital storytelling. She manages the organization’s web and social media presence, shaping strategic content that amplifies Indigenous voices, promotes cultural preservation, and connects communities, travelers, and partners through stories of place and heritage. Kayla brings a strong background in communications, journalism, and content strategy across nonprofit and media sectors. Prior to joining the organization, she spent five years as the digital communications specialist for the National Indian Council on Aging, and four years at the Albuquerque Journal.
