Jaime Begay-Charley, MPH (Navajo) is a Community Navigator for the American Indigenous Tourism Association, providing outreach, technical assistance, and strategic support to empower Indigenous communities to engage effectively with available programs. She has worked on a variety of public health initiatives, focusing on improving health outcomes and advancing justice for underserved communities. Prior to joining the association, Jaime held roles with organizations such as Kauffman & Associates, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, Northern Arizona University, and Diné College. Jaime brings a culturally responsive, relationship-based approach to her work and is deeply committed to advancing community-driven economic development, stewardship, and sustainability through initiatives such as Indigenous tourism.
