Kristina Rocks is the Field Training and Support Specialist at the American Indigenous Tourism Association, where she draws on more than 17 years of hospitality and tourism experience to support Indigenous-led tourism across the country. A descendant of the Sicangu Lakota, Kristina brings personal connection, industry knowledge, and a commitment to capacity-building in her work with tribal tourism professionals and communities.
Before joining the association, Kristina served as Community Impact Manager at Tourism Cares, where she co-led national and regional Meaningful Travel Summits and managed the expansion of the organization’s global Meaningful Travel Map. Her hospitality career includes roles with Hilton, InterContinental, Universal Studios, and Pan Pacific Hotels.
Kristina holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management and a master’s degree in global sustainability, with a focus on sustainable tourism, from the University of South Florida.
